Mississippi Enhanced Concealed Carry Permit Course
This 8-hour course is for anyone 18 years of age or older that are legally allowed to own, purchase, and possess a firearm that are seeking the Mississippi Enhanced Carry Permit. This course is taught by our Mississippi Certified Enhanced Permit Instructors. The course consists of classroom and shooting range instruction and includes a written and live fire qualification test. We also notarize all required forms at no additional charge. Students also receive a Barrel Blok dry fire training & safety tool.
COURSE TOPICS:
Firearm safety
All relevant Mississippi gun laws
Self-defense & justifiable homicide laws
Civil law considerations
Self-defense incident considerations (pre, during, and post incident)
Equipment selection (firearms, holsters, and ammunition)
Shooting fundamentals
Drawing & concealment techniques
COURSE DURATION:
1 Day (8 hours)
PREREQUISITES:
Current Mississippi resident (Exceptions: Active military personnel stationed in Mississippi or the spouse of one. Retired law enforcement officer establishing residency in the state)
Twenty-one (21) years of age or older that is legally allowed to own, purchase, and possess a firearm or at least 18 years of age and a member or veteran of the United States Armed Forces
EQUIPMENT NEEDED:
A semi-automatic pistol or revolver
At least 2 magazines (4 magazines for single stack mags) or speed loaders for revolvers
50 rounds of ammunition
Ear & eye protection (We can provide ear & eye protection unless you prefer to use your own)
RECOMMENDED EQUIPMENT:
Baseball cap/hat
Sunscreen/bug spray
Water and snacks
Clothing suitable for any inclement weather
Comfortable loose-fitting clothing, closed toe footwear
Concealment holster (we will not draw from holster during live fire exercises, but we will demonstrate and practice different drawing techniques with dry weapons with those that bring a holster)
Sturdy, strong belt or tactical belt

If the initial payment for enrollment in a training course is a 50% deposit, the remaining balance on the 50% deposit will be due 30 days from the course start date.
Students will receive a confirmation email confirming registration upon completing checkout, and an additional email containing course information within two weeks of the course date.
REFUND POLICY:
Our refund policy applies to deposits and full tuition payments.
If any courses are cancelled by Delta Tactical Training, all students will be issued full refunds or given the option to apply the tuition for the cancelled course towards a future course.
If a student cancels their attendance to a private session course at least 5 days prior to the course start date they can be given a full refund or apply the tuition to a future course held within 12 months, any cancellations within 5 days of course start date will be subject to a course cancelation fee of 30%.
For all of our other courses cancellations at least 30 days prior to the course start date will be subject to a full refund or the option to enroll in another course.
Any cancellations within 30 days of the course start date will be subject to a 30% cancellation fee.
Any cancellations within 1 week of the course start date will not receive a refund.
If a student does not show up for a course without properly cancelling, they will not receive a refund.
